Beijing is the leisure and business capital of China. It is situated on the north-eastern part of China. However, it is also one of the overpopulated places in the world with a total of 19 million people. Beijing is as well the cultural, political, and educational centre of China.

The city of Beijing is indeed busy the whole year round, but the most suitable time to visit the city is during spring and autumn. There is a bit of caution though because if you visit the city at spring, then there will be a possibility of sporadic sandstorm.

If you are going to visit during summer, then you should as well be reminded that the climate is very hot and humid during such time. If you are travelling on a tight budget and you want lesser crowd, then it’s suitable to visit the city at winter. Avoid visiting the city during public holiday because the city is very crowded during such time.

If you are going to visit Beijing by air, then you will land at Beijing Capital International Airport. This is one of the most significant airports in the world for it ranked as second busiest airport worldwide. For cheap domestic flights, you can book a flight at Air China. You can as well try other airlines like Air France, KLM, and Lufthansa.

Beijing is the centre of culture and tradition in China. There are also mix religious affiliations within the city. Among the commonly practised religion within the city are Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, Islam, and Christianity. The city is also rich in museums. Currently, there are a total of more than 100 museums. Among the most visited museums are Beijing Art Museum, National Museum of China, Capital Museum, and the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution.
