Independent money-saving guide: which airlines fly where?

Canada: Country Guide
Canada, the often quiet country to the north of the United States, is oft described in clichés: hockey, moose, maple syrup, and the Royal Canadian mounted police. But, all stereotypes aside, this vast nation is much more than the sum of its collective parts.
Similar in many ways to the U.S. – economically, socially, and some would argue politically - Canada proudly boasts a distinct culture all its own. With a wide array of influences ranging from British to French in the east to Asian and Middle Eastern in the western provinces, virtually any traveller will feel at home with a strange familiarity to Canada.
The top-notch, metropolitan nightlife of Canada – particularly in urban hubs such as Montreal and Toronto – is a must-see for tourists.
Beyond the city walls, Canada offers travellers some of the most desolate, yet beautiful landscapes in the world. Adventurous travellers need look no further than the Northwest Territories for remote, once-in-a-lifetime outdoor experiences.
Flight Guide > UK Flights > Flights from London > Flights from London to Canada
Canada is well served with flights from London. Toronto, on the East Coast, is the main gateway for flights, however there are direct flights to plenty of cities all over Canada. There's also a wide choice of airlines -BA and Air Canada are the two national carriers; Air Transat and Flyglobespan have brought welcome competition to certain routes.
In terms of cost flying direct is often not the cheapest way: you can quite often save money if you're prepared to change. Air France have a strong network of flights to Canada, (particularly to Quebec), but this would mean changing in Paris, KLM offer some good fares if you're prepared to change in Amsterdam. The other option, (and again often cheaper than flying direct), is to change in the US. This can be a chore as you have to deal with US immigration, but airlines such as Northwest can offer some great fares. To check all these options and more visit our partners ebookers.com flights
Also note that some of the flights are seasonal: there are more flights to Western Canada during the ski season and there are more flights to Toronto and the East Coast during the summer as this reflects the demand.
